rock-hard-bolin asked : "Cheating doesn't count punk." the earthbender said cooly. "Besides don't you remember what happened last time you won? Worked out reallll well for you didn't it?"
“Well we-” His eyes immediately darken upon fully registering what’d just been aimed at him, the verbal dagger puncturing something deep within. The snap in his composure is practically audible between that petty insult and the point where he takes fist-fulls of the earthbender’s shirt, bearing his teeth almost animalistically in the other’s face. “Say it again, you little shit, and I’ll make sure you’ve got no more face to even look at us- me the wrong way.”
Anonymous asked : YOU’RE BEAUTIFUL! I want you to remember you’re sweet, nice, kind, and caring; I want you to know that you shouldn’t change, for anybody. You’re one of a kind, you’re YOU, you’re flawless, and even if you make mistakes, it’s okay, it shows that you’re human; stay strong and beautiful and pass this to the first 10 people you see on your dash!
//Weeeeellll, this was certainly sweet of whoever sent this to me~
I know this was like two days ago, but you’re absolutely beautiful too okay! So is everyone else ever in the world because I declared it so. AND YOU CAN’T ARGUE WITH ME.
ask-ikki asked : "I do what I want." With her arms still folded. " Sorry!" she said sarcastically, "I'm not like those boring girls that you do go out with. Anyway what would you do if a person you liked started walking away from you?"
Boring girls? Pfft, she knows nothing about boring. He smiles down at her condescendingly, his response nothing but the honest truth. “Well, I’d laugh and tell them “your loss.” Because obviously they weren’t worth my time anyways. I wouldn’t tackle them and make them pay attention to me. That screams desperate.”
She pouts slighting, having meant it mostly to tease, and resists the urge to roll her eyes again. In her opinion he’s the touchy one, but he’s right, this is supposed to be a game. She smiles back at the wolfish grin, eyes ducking away momentarily, mostly to keep her mind from going in directions it shouldn’t be in a restaurant. Her mind needs to learn how to behave itself, not going into other ‘games’ they could play. “Oh, if ya don’t mind, sweetheart.” She gives him a small smile, leaning in to murmur the words across the table, her fingers sliding up to draw designs on his wrist.
“Not at all, love.” He’s stooped to mimicking her, speaking in the same tone, looking at her the same way, moving the same distance forwards every time. At this rate the space will be sealed between them in another round of comments, which if he’s being honest, Shaozu doesn’t mind- because he’s running out of nicknames, to be clear. But the feeling of fingers grazing the sensitive flesh of his wrist create a knee jerk reaction in him, literally, and gently he kicks her under the table. “Attention to details…” he observes, eyeing her critically, “Trying to one up me?”
She smirks at first, and then she has to force herself to breathe slow when she sees how close they are together, eyes flickering down for a moment to his lips. This is supposed to be a trick on the waitress, nothing more, and she wonders why he’s able to affect her so.Then he kicks her, and she does her best not to glower at him. Instead, she bats her eyes, trying to act innocent. “No, I’m just bein’ flirty, since I’m supposed to be yer girlfriend.” She taps his arm again. “Here she comes again.” Lieu smiles at him, pulling her hand away to let him order, glad he has to deal with the overly cheerful waitress.
Oh, he likes this game, he likes it a lot. Its goal is utterly pointless, but it’s entertaining in that it differs from his usual activities. Settling back with the faintest of smiles, knowing from the deviation of her eyes just what he’d done, he turns his attention back to the little waitress, gesturing on the menu to what Lieu had earlier expressed desire for. “So the pretty lady you see there wants this, and I’ll… just have a bowl of your spiciest soup, doesn’t matter to me.” He pivots back to Lieu, reaching out for her now abandoned hand. “We good on that?”
Anonymous asked : Yea right she trusts at the drop of a hat. Seems like an easy target.
“A mistake on her part. An easy target, eh? Because that’s all that matters when I could potentially be bound to marry her by screwing her. Oh, and let’s not forget the possibility of fucking up the family name, that’d be grand. Like I said, it’s a little more complicated than what you can comprehend.” he quips, dismissing the grey face with a wave of his hand.
